How to enable loopback adapter in Windows 10

Published:

  1. Open Device Manager

  2. Select Network Adapters

    • (Otherwise you will not see the menu item mentioned in the next step)

  3. Open Action menu

  4. Select Add legacy hardware, click Next

  5. Select Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced), click Next

  6. Select Network adapters, click Next

  7. Select Microsoft in the left pane

  8. Select Microsoft KM-TEST Loopback Adapter in the right pane, click Next:

  9. Click Next and Finish untill the installation is done
